Jared Flinn:
You're listening to the B Floats podcast, your number one resource for everything bold freight trucking. Hey guys. Jared Flynn with the Bulk Loads podcast. Got Tyler with me.
Tyler:
What's going on?
Jared Flinn:
Let's kick it off with this cool fall harvest truck picture.
Tyler:
Yep. Today's truck feature is Stephen Beeson. He is the son of Adam Beeson. They've been members with us since 2019 and they also use smart freight funding as well. They are out of Liberty, North Carolina. This picture is cool. It's a bright bold color like that teal going on. It's one of those trucks that if it was going down the road, it would immediate like you would just like break your neck just trying to look at it passing by.
Jared Flinn:
This isn't a. Like, if I saw that color, I probably wouldn't pick it. But now that I see it on a truck with that setup, it is. It stands out. Very unique.
Tyler:
Yeah. Very cool picture. I always love the harvest pictures out in the field. Like doing. Doing work.
Jared Flinn:
Yeah. Out in North Carolina. So we got really cool pick. You said he was the son of Adam Beeson.
Tyler:
Yep.
Jared Flinn:
And the grandson to whom I'm not. Okay. I thought you were talking. You're going to start talking some kind of lineage. He's a descendant of.
Tyler:
Yeah.
Jared Flinn:
Of so and so. But. Cool. Well, thank you for this truck picture. If you would like a truck featured on our podcast, simply send it to podcast.com or any of our social media and we would love to feature that really cool ride. Speaking of, there was actually this this past week I was traveling and one of the companies, Earl Martin, they had a truck similar to this, the same color, but yeah, this last week as I always got to travel the countryside. I was in 717 area which is now known. I didn't realize this, but known for their sharp rigs like this.
Jared Flinn:
A lot of really customized show trucks. But I'll have Garrett throw some of these pictures up. But man probably visited six or seven accounts. But Earl Martin, we did a video shoot with them which will probably air by the end of this year. Joe's got them pretty stacked up, but really excited about that one. Randy Martin with Peachy Transport. They came to our conference last year, but went to go visit them in their transload facility, which was really cool. Bruce Garman went to his farm and got to see what they're doing and then ended it with Ryan Garber, GFI Transport.
Jared Flinn:
But I have to say this and I just want to put a plug that area number one. I was just overwhelmed with the Generosity and hospitality of the people. These farms up there were immaculate. Every truck you saw there was just. It was blatantly obviously like this area, like just the rigs up there were super cool. And I didn't realize it but people are known for like they know. They call them 717 trucks that they know that they're very cool. So I just wanted to kind of plug that on there.
Jared Flinn:
But those videos will be coming out towards the end of the year. Really excited for you to get a hold of that. Speaking of though, I love this traveling. I get so filled up when I'm out there meeting these people and learning more about them. I get to bring it back and share with you all. But we would love to feature you and do a story on you to do that. Tyler, what do they need to do?
Tyler:
You simply can just drop down in the description below we have a link that says custom video shoot. You'll just click on that, fill out some information, let us know what's a good time to come out again. This is totally no cost to you except for your time. It'll take a couple hours. We'll have Joe go out there and Jared, if you're available, we'll have them stop by your operation and just learn a little about you. And that way we can feature you. If you haven't seen our video shoots yet, if you're on our YouTube channel, just go to the homepage there. And the most recent one we did was Barnhart Transportation.
Tyler:
You can go watch that video. It's super cool about two. Two brothers growing a trucking company to 150 trucks. Yeah.
Jared Flinn:
As of this recording it's like 60 something. Thousand views and it keeps climbing which is really cool and proud of that. Earl Martin actually requested us to come out and this was one that they filled out the form and we did this for them. So. And it's going to be an awesome video.
Tyler:
Yeah, I'm excited.
Jared Flinn:
So much history in that and. But yeah, make sure. We would love to come out there. The only Earl, they even asked us like what's this going to cost? I was like it's nothing. We get to share you with our audience cross market and it just everybody's. It's a win win. So there's no cost to do this. We front the expenses to travel up there, film it, do everything like that.
Jared Flinn:
We get the pleasure of featuring it and marking out there for our clients. So no cost to you. The only thing you have to do is just time and taking the time sometimes most of These shoots, it takes a good half day from start to finish. So just it's only your time that it takes. But yeah, fill the form out. Reach out to us. We'd love to schedule that out, even if it's next year. Go ahead and fill it out and we can figure out a time next year to come out and visit you.
Jared Flinn:
Awesome. Cool. Before we move on, you have some winners, vest winners from last week. And actually I've had more and more people reach out. They've seen. I don't have it on this week, but that vest. And we've sent quite a few out, but a couple winners.
Tyler:
Yep. From last podcast, we did a vest giveaway. So the winners of that are Simon Jamal, 2352.
Jared Flinn:
Simon, he was on the podcast.
Tyler:
He was on the podcast. Adrian Silva, 2839 or 2879. And then that truck driver. So I think Garrett was working on reaching out to all you guys. If you are watching, definitely reach out to his podcast, bulk loads.com or just comment your email or something. A way to get a hold of you. That way we can get your address and we want to get it sent out to you.
Jared Flinn:
Perfect. So speaking of Pennsylvania, when we were up there, a lot of these companies talked about that they haul a lot for Lackawanna products. And today's podcast, I'm going to bring Randy Hobbs on with Lackawanna Products. Randy was really one of our very first shipper posters and posted a lot in the very beginning, which really helped us get on the map for a posting board. And you know, with load boards, it takes loads and it takes trucks and it takes. You got to get loads posted so trucks can get on there.
Tyler:
Exactly.
Jared Flinn:
And I can always remember Randy Hobbs as one of the first ones to really use the site, really post a lot of loads out there to really get us going. So. Oh, a lot of gratitude to him for doing that. But Randy, when I was up there, the Barnhart went, visited Randy and then later on asked him, I was like, I got to get you on the show. He finally agreed. But yeah, Randy Hobbs, longtime veteran in the industry, man, he's been with Lackawanna really since the beginning. Decades, yeah, three decades. And has seen the company grow from a couple employees to now, I think close over 80 employees.
Jared Flinn:
And but wanted to just showcase that we know a lot of our listeners that are listening, they know Lackawanna are called for them. They haul all over the place. They. They have a big presence throughout the eastern side, but even Midwest and I think even now branching into the west and even Canada. So a lot of people know them just from all the places they move and we want to share them with you. So with that said, here is my conversation with Randy Hobbs of Lackawanna Products Company. Randy, thanks for joining us.
Randy Hobbs:
Thank you for having us.
Jared Flinn:
Yeah, well I had the pleasure to visit you all I think last month and man was just excited to finally after 13 years meet you and shake your hand and you graciously showed us around the office and got to experience beef on WEC for the first time and true buffalo wings. So man, thank you so much first and foremost for the hospitality up there.
Randy Hobbs:
Hey, you know what, you guys help us out immensely with our company so it's showing the gracious style. Right back to you.
Jared Flinn:
Yeah, well going back to the beginning, you guys really were one of the first ones to really help us launch bulk loads by being a contributor on the shipping side, posting loads to really create that ecosystem. But I really want to talk about Lackawanna Products and you're all company just from the beginning. You've been there how many years now?
Randy Hobbs:
I just turned from 9, 9, 9 1. It was 33 years September 9th. I actually started off working in accounting in our department and things just changed where I ended up working in traffic after that. We were a company in a lot smaller building where I started and we have grown about three times in size since I started 91. Our company started back around 82 and we have been growing ever since. Right now we have over 90 people employed with our company.
Jared Flinn:
It was interesting because you know, we deal with commodity shipping companies, trading companies all over the country and just the different commodities you trade but you all had a wall. And we're going to throw this picture up for our viewers to see but just of all the different commodities that you all trade. But yeah, talk about that. Just you don't have to list all the ones. But Ben, you guys are really dabbling in all different types of specialty grains and commodities. But talk about some of those.
Randy Hobbs:
Well, we do get a lot into the organics. We've also have diversify where we'll even work on feed grade fertilizers as well where some of these animal byproduct customers will use that stuff. So they do trade that stuff into them from time to time. You know we get into the basics, their wheat mids and the soy hull pellets and you know, your regular grains. But there is such a diversity of different commodities that we get into that you know, is all feed related and we've even Moved sand products as well. You know, anything that's non hazardous that you know, leads to more opportunities where our traders can, you know, prosper and also keep the trucks moving.
Jared Flinn:
Yeah. And what I thought was interesting because you know the company Lackawanna, you guys are. Your office now is in Buffalo, right. Claire or Clarence, New York. I'm sorry but you all have an actual mill in Lackawanna, right?
Randy Hobbs:
He's. We actually have a storage facility in Eden, New York.
Jared Flinn:
Okay.
Randy Hobbs:
So. And that's where we store like we'll bring in rail cars at different commodities and then we ship like corn gluten meal out of there and we have blood meal in the past have done that as well. You know, just any commodities we bring in there distillers. We've done that before in the past. You know, it's our railside facility. It's been there as long as I've been with Lackawanna and you know, just moving. We move a lot of the product up in the northeast with that transfer location. But we also have transfer locations all around the country as well.
Jared Flinn:
Talk about. Because again you've been there really since its humble beginnings. And businesses and companies, they don't just naturally grow. There's got to be intentionality. Tom and steps along the way. But what man, if you can kind of really think back what's led to some of that growth or changes over the years to really where you guys are today because you showed me around. I mean you guys have how many traders now that are trading different commodities.
Randy Hobbs:
I would say between our US location which you were a part of and we went through and we also have a Canadian trading company as well. I would say probably at least 20 traders I would say about that. And we're consistently always trying to grow, whether it's in that aspect of our company or in another department such as logistics. And logistics is the vibe, you know, is a branch off of our trading that we started off doing logistics for customers probably back in the mid-90s.
Jared Flinn:
So really what I mean if you kind of sum it up like what led to all that growth? I mean the expansion of the company, the expansion of the logistics company. I mean who really had that growth mindset to get you guys where you guys are moving thousands of truckloads now every year.
Randy Hobbs:
We established a lot of personnel who have a lot of them had retired but have were the backbone of lack on our products. And it starts with our boss, Tony Murchy and he was bringing in some people from Pillsbury and brought in some people from the railroad with great experience. We had a couple Canadian guys that were in our office as well that we were able to trade internationally very frequently. I had very great knowledge about that. We live and learn from that. My mentor, Pete Hallows is who I learned a lot of the commodities end and also logistics as time went on. And he taught me immensely to where I am today. And so that is a lot of strong growth that we have, you know, continually want to grow on from where them people started this company and helped grow it to where it is today.
Jared Flinn:
Hey, guys. Many of you all know, but we created a collection of children's books called Semisam. These books were spurred when my kids were little, my boys, we couldn't find books on trucking and on agriculture. So I got together and thought of this idea to create a fictional character called Semi Sam and really encompass the storylines behind Agriculture. Since we've started, we've created four different books. We're about ready to release a fall book called Semisam and the Pumpkin Harvest. If you haven't yet, you can find these on Amazon. But also if you're a member of Bulk Loads or you have resources that you want these to go to, we love to gift them out to people.
Jared Flinn:
We send them to a lot of our clients that give them out in parades, at other different events, conferences. And we would love to do that just as a thank you from us, reach out to us. You can contact us at support. Com, you can go to any of our social media, or you can go to Amazon.com and find the Semi Sam collection. We hope that you enjoy these for your kids and grandchildren. Thank you very much. God bless. That's awesome.
Jared Flinn:
The logistics piece, Lackawanna Logistics, I mean, that's really just grown in the past, what, 10 years, I believe.
Randy Hobbs:
Yes, yes, we have. You know, we started out, of course, smaller, just like anybody else, but we saw an opportunity for growth in that department, whether it was bulk commodities or we established starting moving palletized, which of course you have flat loads with your other business there. And we just saw a growth of that business right there that has expanded. And what helps is a lot of our bulk customers that we haul for, we do palletize for as well. So that has helped Barry diversify our structure and moving commodities and loads all the time.
Jared Flinn:
And because you took me down just to your team, the logistics piece and yeah, I mean, you guys have quite a few, and I was going to say just ballpark, I mean, eight to 10 people that are just on the logistics side, right. That are handling the transportation of your own commodities, but then also brokering those loads for your customers as well.
Randy Hobbs:
Well, in our logistics division, which is separate from the trading side, our logistics division, we build our potential, you know, a lot of customers, but we also interact next door with the feed side as well on a daily basis. And we have, between our Canadian office and logistics department that's here in the US we have now 19 people in our department separate from the trading side of the commodities. And, you know, our boss wants us to keep growing and in this type of, you know, business and type of year you run into with inflation and everything else and companies, you know, downsizing and, you know, just economics in general, you know, that's a big plus.
Jared Flinn:
Yeah. Randy, if you don't mind, Sharon, talk about really how. Because again, I look at you with a lot of wisdom now over the last, you know, years that you've been involved in the trading industry. But like, talk about how it's really changed, but even how you all have utilized technology. And I want to give a selfish plug. I loved how much you were, you know, we walked around your office and all the logistics professionals, but even the traders, a lot of them, you pointed like, hey, look, they got bulk loads up right now. They're using it and they're using it, they're using it. But, like, talk about how you've used, you know, technology in general, but even bulk loads to help grow your business.
Randy Hobbs:
Bulk loads has been a. With a boon to our business. It has opened us up to so many more carriers out there that have never heard of our company, that, you know, had never heard of us. And it's. It still happens to this day because you always have new signups almost every day from different parts of the country, you know, and they don't know about us. You know, you might get somebody that lives all the way out in Texas that's never heard of us before or California or somewhere like that. But we do trade commodities, you know, that far out. You know, we do have our stronger suits where we're strong in certain parts of the country.
Randy Hobbs:
But, you know, I mean, all depends on how the market works with trading the commodities going from point A to point B. Yeah, you.
Jared Flinn:
You guys are always looking for opportunities, always looking to grow. Talk about just for some of our listeners on this podcast that don't. That maybe have heard of y'all, maybe not had heard of y'all. Where do you. Where are you guys constantly moving, like regions of the. Afraid that you might. People might be interested to know that could Reach out to you. Like, where are you guys strong? Always looking for trucks to move your all commodities.
Randy Hobbs:
I would say if I on a strong suit. Even though we do trade 48 states, like I did mention that here a little bit ago. You were strong in the Midwest and east coast for sure. You know, we just a lot of the market, just the way the trading goes on, you know, we trade a lot of stuff from the south, from the north down to the south and we go from the west to the east. You know, we have a lot of customers, say in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, we're starting to grow down in the Southeast more and more. We have a salvage facility down all the way in Louisiana where we have grown on that over the years, which is great. You know, that's part of our rail division. And you know, I mean, you get your various areas where we used to be and we still do.
Randy Hobbs:
We do trade some stuff up in the upper Midwest, you know, Dakotas, and we're very strong out in western Canada. One of our senior, our most senior trader, who used to be a buffalo saber back in the day, has really put a stronghold on the western Canadian market. And without his wisdom and his smarts and the background of, you know, being in the farming business before, without him, he has just been very essential and people look up to him as, you know, the senior trader with a lot of experience and expertise.
Jared Flinn:
I know this just from senior postings on there, but a lot of the freight that you guys post and move, obviously hopper bottom freight, but you guys utilize all different types of bulk types of equipment with the commodities. Talk about just that. Like what. What types of equipment that you guys are looking for or all the types of equipment that you all handle through the commodities.
Randy Hobbs:
You all trade well, for instance, with the bulk, predominantly you have your dumps. And a lot of times I always ask for the cold shoots on it because that's essential for a lot of customers. They need them for unloading into their systems. And a lot of people don't always ask that question because they just take it for granted that these trucks always have it. Then of course, your hopper bottoms, which, you know, they're running all over the place, but you know, always in the Midwest is very strong about that. Walking floors and belt trailers, which is similar to walking floors, but it's a little bit smaller in diameter than a walking floor. We use. We do a little bit of tanker work, you know, not on strong side on that, but we do have dabbled that in the past.
Randy Hobbs:
And then, you know, we do use you know, a palletized side. You got your vans, you got your flatbeds and Conestoga's. And we've done some hot shots or LTL moves as well, periodically come up. Just any opportunity that we can use the right equipment on.
Jared Flinn:
Yeah, nice talk about. Especially we kind of, right now, kind of what's going on, harvest and all that. I would say that you guys probably are moving quite a bit of freight this time of the year. Fall time of the year.
Randy Hobbs:
Yep, yep. Typically, your September through December tends to be our strongest time of the season for moving commodities. With the way the markets are and people are harvesting and ginning, you know, with new stuff and trying to move it and, you know, but also on the other end, it becomes very difficult to get trucking done. And that's the time when sometimes you might see escalating rates go up. And it's a case by case situation. We always talk about that internally as well, where there's times you do have to pay up on the freight rates, you know, because of the need of the customer and. But the markets have changed so much with the commodities that something you might have seen that was moving greatly last year might not be moving this year, you know, and it's just, you know, especially like in the farmers, they don't. They use different commodities that change all the time.
Randy Hobbs:
One year they might use cottonseed, the next year they might use soybean meal instead or a different type of filler.
Jared Flinn:
Yeah, yeah. Going back to Lackawanna Products, your logistics group, what really separates you guys? Because you guys move a lot of freight, it seems like, I mean, you guys are always down looking for those opportunities. What would you say are key characteristics that separate you all apart really from other businesses out there that are doing the same thing? Because, man, seems like a lot of people gravitate to haul for you. All you guys are. You're onboarding different carriers all the time. But what are those key factors that you all provide that really kind of differentiate you all from others out there in the industry?
Randy Hobbs:
Well, I think the team aspect is huge. Communications. You know, you have your traders that are always continually working together to, you know, put the best trades together, but also coordinating with their freight coordinators. And it goes all the way down to the service assistance and, you know, trying to consistently and not being complacent. In this business, if you get complacent, you're not going anywhere. You gotta always have an aggressive mind because some people like to just go through the motions and then you end up that opportunity might go by the wayside and somebody else is going to move it and it's a loss opportunity for Lackawanna Products or LPC Logistics. And then there's times when we can potentially tie loads in from one place to the next. And that happens all the time where you keep a truck moving.
Randy Hobbs:
And I was always proponent of doing that.
Jared Flinn:
Yeah, I've noticed like now you're leading now a team of other logistics professionals working with traders and all that. But what I love about it, you're still very hands on. I mean you work in the bullpen with the other logistics professionals. Seems like you really have a pulse on the market. But I really admire that. But I think that some, sometimes maybe as companies grow, people kind of move up the hierarchy. But like, I guess you really keep an eye on what's going on on a daily basis. I mean, still talking with clients, still booking, you know, loads, working with vendors, shipping companies and all that.
Jared Flinn:
Why, why is that?
Randy Hobbs:
I just always like to keep a hands on approach with what's currently moving, what I'm competing against. You know, where I always send out a diesel price report every week to everybody to let them know what work, what the market's doing and how the truckers are adapting to the fuel prices and the freight rates. I always want to know how things are going with within our department and you know, seeing how freight rates are continuously and how, you know, trucking reliability is and customers, you know, trying to keep our business up there. I always tell them, let's see what we did from years past and see if we don't lose this business or find out why, what's going on.
Jared Flinn:
Yeah, that's really good. Well, yeah, I just kind of have a few last kind of questions just to kind of end this conversation. But yeah, this has been really insightful and I think this has been again really more hands on approach talking with you and kind of how you all run the business and really showing you to our clients. But talk about where do you see Lackawanna here in the next five, ten years as far as growth goes?
Randy Hobbs:
Our boss continuously wants us to grow in the right aggressive manner. We want workers, we want people that are going to, you know, contribute. You know, we're starting to run into a few people and I'm sure you see this yourself where they start getting into that retirement talk at times. But you know, we want to go from 90 people to 110 people. You know, we want to keep the seats filled and we want to do that smartly and you know, we're constantly interviewing people trying to, you know, get, keep the right mix in with our company.
Jared Flinn:
Yeah, that's awesome. Well, Randy, man, I can't thank you enough for being just a long term supporter of bulk loads. I remember just when it was just myself in the office having one on one conversations with you, you giving us a lot of insight and advice on ways that we can make our service better. So I love how we've kind of grown together over the years.
Randy Hobbs:
Yeah, you and I have a lot of grown together.
Jared Flinn:
Yeah, yeah, I can remember. Yeah. Yeah, we're having great conversations and I can tell that your, your heart and passion is for this industry and all the professionals in it, whether it's shipping companies, of course, our carrier members as well. And I think you've always had the best intentions of really making sure that it's a win win opportunity. So, man, thank you so much always for your support and wisdom and growing with us on bulk loads. Really appreciate it.
Randy Hobbs:
Thank you for your time, Jared. Always a pleasure, buddy.
Jared Flinn:
Tyler. The one thing about Randy, after meeting him in person and then shooting this podcast, this guy is mission focused for the company.
Tyler:
Yeah.
Jared Flinn:
And you can hear it, I mean the way he talks, the way he breathes it. But obviously he's been with that company for a long time. But man, he has put his heart and soul into building this company.
Tyler:
Yeah. And I think that he's going to continue doing that. He loves it until he gets out of. Yeah. And you can tell that in the podcast and he's been there for so long. But yeah, one of the things that you guys are talking about that was cool. A couple things, just how diverse they are in their commodity trading and everything. And that's what I keep hearing more and more as you go and visit these companies.
Tyler:
And something that we always talk about is the guys that are experiencing that massive growth. It's because, you know, they're getting diverse and they're thinking outside the box and they're really diversifying their company. You know, maybe opening carriers, are opening up brokerages or you know, like lack of Rana is opening up a logistics division that they've had going. So really just diversifying yourself in that.
Jared Flinn:
I've been telling you about some of these crazy ideas names that I've had, but the more I go on these visits, the more I take a deeper dive learning about these companies. I realize it's more than just hauling bulk.
Tyler:
Yep.
Jared Flinn:
And there's just so many other ways to build a business and be diversified. We do that at Bulk loads. I mean, we have five different, different companies that we run. Again, it's to serve the needs of our customers, but it's also to diversify ourselves out in the market spot because you don't know when something may happen or something may be slower and something may be busier. But it's an encouragement to see that they're doing this. And again, every company that I see, the ones that are successful, and again, we said it earlier, but some of these company visits you're going to see and I want you to watch, I mean, Barnhart was one of them. We got another one coming out here soon with the Idaho potato harvest. But these companies that are crushing it, they're doing more than just the hauling.
Jared Flinn:
And I think it's an encouragement for me and for you out there that the opportunities are out there. You just got to keep an open eye on where they might lie.
Tyler:
Yeah, and I think that's going to be. Not to, not to jump too, too into it, but I think that's going to be a common theme at our conference in 2025 is we're going to really touch and dive into a lot of that about teaching these guys, hey, if you want to grow, you know, some guys don't want to grow, they're happy where they are. But if you really want to grow and go get to the next level, how can you diversify your operation? Whether it's, you know, adapting to different kind of trailers in general freight whenever bulk slows down, or, you know, taking on a whole nother operation like a truck wash or something like that.
Jared Flinn:
Yeah, Ryan Garber, when we were up there just last week, they had these big poultry houses and they took the poultry houses and converted them into RV storage and it's taken off. Yeah, nothing bulk related whatsoever, but they saw an opportunity. They're within a couple hours of the Bay Area up there and now those storage spaces are just chock full of RVs and all that. So just. Yeah, one idea. It just made me think of that top of the head. So, man, the opportunities are out there. You said it.
Jared Flinn:
But BULK Freight Conference 2025 is coming up. We're going to be talking about that so much more. You don't want to miss it. Ryan Garber told me he's already got his tickets and some others out there, so we want to see you there. This thing will sell out. And I'm not saying that to get you to buy the tickets right now, but get the tickets plan right now because this thing is getting a lot of Momentum and this thing will sell out fast. We want you there. It is going to be awesome.
Jared Flinn:
A lot of people are asking, well, what it's going to entail. It's going to be everything from panel discussions. We got great speakers lined up, a lot of cool entertainment. It's in the great town of Branson, Missouri. There's so much to do even outside of the conference. So you will not be disappointed. You will not. You will not be able to stand still.
Jared Flinn:
There'll be that much going on.
Tyler:
Yeah. So it's April 16th through the 18th in 2025, Branson, Missouri. We got a lot of cool things going on this year. I'm really excited because we. The venue is just so massive that we can have breakout sessions and we can really get nitty gritty with, you know, shipper, broker and carrier discussions. So I'm super excited for it. We're going to have semi trucks there. We've got a lot of sponsors signed up already.
Tyler:
Get your tickets, bulkfreightconference.com. you can get them today.
Jared Flinn:
Yeah, make sure and do that. We're super excited about that. Yeah. A couple things before we close out. We continue to build this podcast up. We do a lot of these like Randy Hobbs was online. But if you were ever in the area, man, we'd love to have you stop by, maybe even come on our show where there's other companies that do that and sometimes I forget that, man. We're here in Springfield, Missouri.
Jared Flinn:
We're in two big intersections, Highway 65 and 44. A lot of our members come through here. We would love to have you stop by, don't have to be on the show. We'd love to have you come on the podcast. But if you can reach out to us, let us know. We do have. It's a big street out here. You can park a semi truck.
Jared Flinn:
We haven't any had anybody yell at us yet for that. But if you can reach out to us or you can send an email to podcastoloads.com or reach out to us however you can through social media, let us know if you're in the area, I will be happy to buy you lunch and give you. We have a whole showroom, a swag that we will pamper you with and we want to see. We'd love to have you come by. So, yeah, I'm going to start probably promoting that more, but I always forget that so many people drive through here and we're right here in Springfield. Love to have you stop by, maybe spend an hour tops if you got a little more time or less time, we can accommodate that.
Tyler:
Yeah. I'll say this, too. We plug our email a lot in social channels, but if you just want to call us 800-518-9240. We have a lot of guys in here that would love to talk to you. If you're just a person who wants to pick up the phone and just talk to somebody, we'd love to do that, too. So that's always an option.
Jared Flinn:
Awesome. Cool. Well, as we always do on the end of these podcasts, we always pray. It was encouraging me this last week that several of the people we stopped by. Absolutely. They mentioned the prayer and how much that means to them in the truck. We know that out in the truck, it can be lonely. You can be in isolation.
Jared Flinn:
And we want to be a light for those out there and a voice to speak truth and love to those out there in the trucking industry. So thank you for those encouraging words. Encourage us to know that, man, we're called to do this and hopefully being submissive to God by that.
Tyler:
Yeah. So just on that, we do have a prayer channel
[email protected]. like you were saying, it can get lonely in the truck. We want to make sure guys know that whatever you're going through, these battles, these hard times that you're going through, we don't want you to be alone. We want you to have somebody to talk to. Right. And we just want you to be able to be bold enough to send us your prayer request, and our team will pray over you and be with you.
Jared Flinn:
Yeah. Cool. Awesome. You want to close this out today?
Tyler:
Lord, we come to you today. Just thank you and praise you, Lord, we just thank you for all this wonderful weather and the rain that we've been getting here in southwest Missouri. Lord, I ask a special blessing over all of our members and the entire trucking industry, Lord, as we know that they are a vital part of the way that America moves. Lord, we ask that you just watch over them, any hardships or battles that they're going through. Lord, I know there's a lot of anxiety going on with the election and just the state of the trucking industry with people battling cash flow issues and, you know, other financial issues. Lord, we ask that you just relieve them of those issues. And we just ask that you just make them at peace, Lord. Make sure they know that they are not alone through this.
Tyler:
Lord, we ask that in the election coming up, Lord, we ask that whatever the outcome is, Lord, we ask that there will be no anxiety or fear of what's to come. Lord, we ask that people just put their trust and faith in you as we know that you are the final say in everything. Lord, we love you and thank you. Amen.
Jared Flinn:
Amen. Thank you as always for listening to the Bulk Loads podcast. If you haven't yet, make sure and subscribe again all these videos that we're producing. That way you're always alerted when that happens. And man, reach out to us again. We'd love for you to be a part of this podcast, this community. And last not least, I'll just say this. There are opportunities out there.
Jared Flinn:
So man, if you are struggling, reach out to us in any facet, whether it's finding freight, insurance, tms, any of those products that we offer, not for our plug. But man, there are a. I mean opportunities out there. I'm always encouraged when I get back from these trips and seeing how many of these companies are crushing it. And we want you to crush it too. So reach out to us and let us help you. Thank you as always and God bless.
Tyler:
I.
