When people think of farming, they usually picture the planting, growing, and harvesting parts of the process. Rarely ever do people think about what farmers do during the winter. Michigan is one of the most agriculturally diverse states, producing over 300 different agricultural commodities. According to the Huron County Farm Bureau, Huron County has 440,967 acres of farmland, which represents 87% of the land in the county. That is the most farmland of any county in Michigan. |
