It is no secret that the past couple of years have seen, in many cases, declining freight volumes across various freight transportation modes. While that may be still largely be the case, trucking continues to be the mode representing the highest amount of freight transportation tonnage and revenue.
That was made clear by the American Trucking Associations (ATA), in its annual forecast, entitled “ATA Freight Transportation Forecast 2024 to 2025, which it recently published in tandem with S&P Global Market Intelligence.
