Trucking company, owner get probation for emissions tampering

A Fairview, Oregon transportation company and its owner were sentenced to probation in federal court recently for tampering with trucks' emissions monitoring devices in violation of the Clean Air Act.

Clancy Logistics, Inc., located in Fairview, Oregon, and its owner, Timothy Clancy, 55, of Sherwood, Oregon, were each sentenced to three years' probation. They were also ordered to pay a fine of $101,510.
