The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) says that thousands of truck drivers will need to obtain new medical certification after the agency deemed two Houston-area doctors non-compliant with physical qualification examination regulations.

On Friday, April 11, FMCSA announced that over 15,000 unexpired Medical Examiner’s Certificates (MECs) issued by Dr.  Jenny Le and Dr. Dustin Mai between March 2023 and March 2025 have been voided.
