1,101 Peterbilts and Kenworths recalled for throttle problem

Jan 27, 2025 at 09:18 AM CST

More than 1,000 Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks are being recalled because of a problem with their throttle petals.

The National Highway Safety Administration's notification of the recall said, "The throttle pedal assembly may contain an oversized magnet carrier, slowing the responsiveness or causing the pedal to stick." This, according to the agency, could increase chances of a crash.
