WHAT IS THE LIGHTEST AND MOST DURABLE END DUMP FOR SAND?

You get what you pay for in this industry and the only trailer proven as a half round is an East. It combines the half round with the strength of square box all in one. I have several and also have an Alumatech dump body on a dump truck. While it is light it is not built like an East. Travis has bought out Alumatech and parts are a nightmare to get. Drive behind any of the others and watch the tails sway goin down the road. A standard half round design is designed to fail. Resale is poor on the others as well. Macs hold their value pretty good, but once again cracks are an issue.
