Why is it that y'all feel that we need to be punctual with communication yet when drivers call, text, or email all we hear are crickets? Very unprofessional.

Sounds like when my daughter told me she preferred quilts over duvets. I told her not to make blanket statements like that. :P

But I suppose that is true for some brokers as I have heard complaints of similar ilk from others. I honestly dont get it. My wife and I work together as freight brokers for over 15 years, we use our personal cell phones, and are always on-call for our customers, shippers, truckers, you name it. We love what we do, and do a great job of coordination to ensure timely unloads, after-hours rendezvous, transloads, or even working with the driver to locate a repair part for the trailer that was carrying a load for the Macy's Day Parade. We want things to go smoothly for all involved, including ourselves lol. But we run into the same issue with dispatchers or drivers going MIA when things go South. I dont get it, appropriate communication can easily make a problem, not that big of a problem. We dont relate with the folks that take off while things are in motion. Nonetheless, here's to a healthy and profitable 2025, I wish you the best!
