NORTHLAND OR GREAT WEST INSURANCE

Posted by a private BulkLoads.com member. any insurance company warning remember a agent is allowed by law to write/produce invaild/ not binding certs of ins . and not be held accountable for their actions. they say practice is covered by their E&O carrier but try to get that info from them. just like us, ins copanies and their agents are insured by and a outside company. but unlike us they dont have to make public their ins carrier info this from experiance before you move a truck make sure its insured by calling the carrier, not your agent, the word or cert from your agent is worthless. E&O info does not have to be made public nor does it have to filed on a state level. the only way you get the info in most cases is if your claim is above their deductable, in most cases you will have to take them to court. again i have checked into this because it has happened to me,..... their deductables...... $30,000.00 and above

We have had Northland but this year have renewed with a even better company that has a better rating then Northland and saved us $1000.00 a year and is a A+ Superior rated company and Northland is an A+ so check into it its wells worth the savings and headaches that come with other agents and companies. There are other out there besides Northland and Great West. The only way you know is if you have a agent that underwrites for thoses companies and if you don't you will never know what is out there.
