Anybody have experience with EBY? How does it compare with Wilson or Timpte? Thanks

I haven't personally pulled one, but I see a ton of them here in Central Iowa (The plant is located in Story City which is about 40 miles north of Ames). Everyone I have talk to about them have nothing but positive things to say. Even met one guy that had an wiring issue with his couple yrs after he bought it (mice got into wiring over winter parked on a farm). He said EBY had him bring the trailer back to the factory, take a demo they had on hand, and disassemled his trailer to install a whole new harness, at companys expense. So when I am in the market for a Hopper I will be buying an EBY for customer service alone!

I've owned Eby livestock trailers, Wilson livestock, hopper, and belt trailers, a Timpte hopper, and a Trinity belt. With the exception of the Wilson belt they have all been good trailers. A lot has to do with the specs you choose. What do you plan to haul in it? What kind of environment will it be running in? What kind of dealer support will you have? How user friendly is the trailer? Is it easy to repair? What is the resale like?... I wouldn't be afraid of an Eby, they make good trailers. The only thing that might hurt you with an Eby hopper is the resale. Much like my Trinity belt trailer, regardless of dependability someone either loves or hates the look of it. Good luck to you.

I Purchased my EBY in Fall of 2023. I have have burt good things to say about mine. The only draw back i would have is they are slightly heavier. My Tandem weighs the same as my Wilson triple axle did.
