A lot of the "loads" posted on here aren't actual loads that you can go pick up. They are brokers looking for rates for loads they hope to get. Complain all you like. Nothing will be done. Because fake loads help the load board look more full. It would be so simple to create a section for brokers to seek rates. Then we won't have to waste our time calling about loads that aren't loads.

The same thing happens on here. A lot of the "loads" posted on here aren't actual loads that you can go pick up. They are brokers looking for rates for loads they hope to get. Complain all you like. I am a legit Broker. I come from KAG logistics. I know KAG is mostly a tanker company but my previous background was in Van and Flatbed. I am open to all modes except LTL currently. Whatever my customer needs, if I can find it, I will do it.

To elaborate on one of the comments in here, yes often times you will see Brokers ask for rates without it being a legit load. I have certainly done that. When it comes to Tanker loads, I am not as versed on Linehaul charges as I am for other modes as Bulk is a mode I am still learning. It would definitely be nice if there was a way to get an idea on cost so I can provide a rate to my customer/potential customer without having to always ask.

I'm always transparent so I will tell you if I am quoting to win, if we won the lane, if I have a better rate, or if my customer needs to be at a certain rate. I recently started my own agency after a falling out with my previous company due to difference of opinions in what constitues quality service. This will allow me to offer the white glove services that I provide. I am upfront, straightforward and proactively communicate with both the clients I serve, and the carriers I choose to partner with.
