I run a set of these on my 2007 C13 turned to 470hp and it works great. I gained about .2/mpg pulling 90,000# and the biggest improvement was the throttle response. I have had them on since August and have not had any problems with them. I have the adjustable boost dial and run it on #5 all the time. It does smoke more but I don't worry about that too much. For the money they have more than payed for themselves, I've wasted more money and gained less results on other things.

The gut that makes them is a personal friend of mine. He will stand behind them. If you have a problem with your harness all you have to do is call him and he will send you a new one for free, but ods are you won't have a problem with it. If you have a cummins you will probebly gain more mpg then if you have a cat but either way they do work. I have had one on my 3406E 2ws for over a year. I gained about .2 mpg and alot better throttle response.

Black exhaust smoke usually means that the misture is lean. Black smoke is carbon (soot). White or milky colored smoke is a rich mixture (unburned fuel going up the stack). Take a look at the tractor and truck pulling events on RFDTV sometime. You will see the white smoke pouring out the stacks because those folks don't care a wit about mileage. They turn the fuel pumps up all the way until some of it is being wasted a blown out the stack. At that point more fuel is pointless. The engine that runs too lean will usually run too hot and will (if left too lean) over heat and or turn its lube oil (crank case) to tar and at some point fail. Clear clean exhaust is what you should strive for. In certain states trucks are subjected to an exhaust scan and as it is weighed, it it is smoking it will be pulled over for an inspection by the Po lice.

Yes I do, but I'm sure if I didn't you would tell me as you have such a vast knowledge of the everything. It puffs a little smoke when I shift depending on hard I stand on it. It does not constantly smoke going down the road. |

Black smoke that is normal when you over fuel your engine is dollar signs going up your stack.. So if you think you are getting good fuel economy.. You could get better without the smoke.
