8k a week sound good until you add up expenses and maintenance on the truck.

If you were somehow making that kind of money posting those numbers was foolish, because a number of guys in your area will now follow you right into your customers yard and undercut the rate, there are a lot of hungry people out there.

He is right 8k a week, probably a towel head they got 3 are 4 drivers in one truck so 1.20 a mile they are knocking it down! They did the same thing in the 90s when I had trucks running reefers cut cut cut the rate bottom feeders.

I had one of my trucks bring in 7k in a week for 5 loads, so it's possible, but that's not after expenses, just have to find the right loads on here and not the cheap crap!

8 k is a reasonable pay for each truck. I can tell you that 4k is not enough to pay the bills when truck starts breaking down etc... 8k would do it. I currently work as an employee and make 1 to 2k sometimes a bit more or less. That is nice pay. When i made 5 or 6k a week as OP , it was nice for a month or so and then always something to take it away, tires, parts etc..
