cotton seed hull (density)

Posted by a private BulkLoads.com member.	Posted by a private BulkLoads.com member. We have a 82 inch high Timpte, some 82 inch high Cornhuskers and also a high side Wilson and we have no trouble getting a load on and we haul cottonseed on a weekly basis.

If you are hauling whole cottonseed you will get full weight on your trailer as long as the moisture level of rthe seed isn't too dry. On cotton seed hulls however, you will get 18 maybe 19 ton. We run 45 X102 by 78 trailers and the most I have ever gotten on cotton seed hulls was 19 ton. They can be a bit of a pain to unload out of a hopper also because they tend to stick together and they are really light and fluffy. Hulls are better left to a walking floor or a belt trailer, but thats just the opinion of one.

If you are hauling whole cottonseed you will get full weight on your trailer as long as the moisture level of rthe seed isn't too dry. On cotton seed hulls however, you will get 18 maybe 19 ton. We run 45 X102 by 78 trailers and the most I have ever gotten on cotton seed hulls was 19 ton. Posted by a private BulkLoads.com member.	Posted by a private BulkLoads.com member. We loaded a load of hulls in Pine Bluff, Ar today. Driver got 14 tons on a 42x96x 84 timpte. Loader operator told him thats all he ever gets on a load. Good thing it pays a flat rate.
