Join us for the first Ag Education Day at the Children‘s Museum of Southern Minnesota. This is a free and fun-filled day to get up close and hands-on with the Agriculture industry! Learn about the progress of a soybean or kernel of corn from seed to the meat found in grocery coolers and all of the steps along the way. Many Greater Mankato Businesses will be represented along with BIG equipment from each step of the process. What to Expect There will be 10 main stations that guests can interact with. Each station will have a truck and trailer that represents a step in the process and a driver or two that can explain how transportation of that product takes place. Local companies will represent each of these stations and will guide children and their caregivers through their steps of the process with a safe interactive activity. When possible, the trailers will be open for viewing.
